Cendant Honored for Support of Women's Businesses

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Cendant Car Rental Group is among the 11 companies recognized by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) for supporting women-owned businesses in 2003.

The fifth annual list, "America's Top Corporations for Women's Business Enterprises," salutes companies with programs aimed at ensuring equal access to women-owned suppliers. Joining Cendant Car Rental Group on the list are AT&T, Bank of America, ChevronTexaco, IBM Corp., Office Depot, PepsiCo, SBC Communications, Shell Oil Co., TXU and UPS.

Representatives of the companies will be honored at a White House ceremony hosted by U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao.
