JACKSON, Miss. -- U-Save Auto Rental announced plans to open two new franchises that will service airports in Jacksonville, Fla., and Daytona Beach, Fla.

Mike Bevacqua and Henry Fischer, residents of Ormond Beach, Florida, are the franchisees. This brings to seven the total number of airport locations U-Save services. Current locations include Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Myrtle Beach.

Bevacqua and Fischer have more than 40 years of combined experience in the rental car industry as Thrifty Car Rental franchisees and Budget Rent-A-Car employees. They have operated Super Saver Parking, a successful business that services Jacksonville airport, for over 15 years.

"This is very exciting for U-Save," said David Wells, vice president of franchise operations for U-Save Auto Rental. "The strategy to expand presence in the airport market comes in response to requests from U-Save franchisees and customers to extend the reach of the U-Save trade name. The neighborhood market will continue to be a very important focus of the company."

U-Save has plans to open 30 airport locations by the end of 2005.
