Hertz Global Holdings has appointed Elyse Douglas to executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Douglas reports to the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mark P. Frissora and has been serving as interim chief financial officer of Hertz since the retirement of Paul J. Siracusa in August of 2007.

With nearly 25 years of corporate finance, treasury and financial management experience, Douglas joined Hertz as staff vice president and treasurer in July 2006.

Douglas earned a bachelor's degree in Finance from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant and earned her (CFA) designation in 1997.
