Nissan North America Inc. released Tuesday detailed factory and port-installed options for the 2011 Nissan LEAF. The automaker said customers in California, Arizona, Tennessee, Washington and Oregon, who made online reservations will now be able to choose the color and trim level of their Nissan LEAF.

The ordering process for the Nissan LEAF will be prioritized based on when consumers submitted their original reservations online and by the consumer's market. Nissan said more than 18,600 people in the U.S. have made reservations for the Nissan LEAF.

Over the next several weeks, reservation holders will begin to receive e-mails informing them how to submit an order. They will contact a dealer to negotiate their price and finalize the order for the purchase or lease of Nissan LEAF.

Once a consumer's order has been agreed with a dealer it will be placed in sequence for production and delivery according to the consumer's market. These future Nissan LEAF drivers will be informed of an estimated delivery timing upon completing the order process.
