Uber, a mobile-application-based company that connects customers with luxury vehicle drivers, is expanding its services to Bangalore, India.
According to an Uber blog post, the company is currently in “secret testing mode” while trying to find more available cars and test its pricing. Uber is also looking for a community manager to help grow the brand in Bangalore.
“Bangalore has long been welcoming to new ideas, people and cultures — from nurturing global tech giants in the last decade to opening its doors to young startup founders and a growing number of expats today. That’s why we’re excited for secret Ubers to roll into town in Bangalore, our very first city in India,” according to the Uber blog post.
Founded in 2009, Uber is now available in over 35 cities across 18 countries.
