Turo launched a new feature that allows customers to include add-ons to their rentals, called Extras.
Extras allow hosts to provide customers with child seats, prepaid fueling, unlimited mileage, bike racks, tents, and sporting equipment. The new feature is designed to provide car owners with more revenue, while giving customers a more convenient rental experience. Hosts can set their own prices for add-ons, with Turo taking 10% of the cost.
Turo's Extras feature joins the company alongside the Deluxe and Super Deluxe features, which target customers seeking exotic car rentals.
