Lime has officially launched LimePod, a free-floating carsharing service in Seattle, following a successful round of beta testing, Geek Wire reports.

Now, anyone in Seattle can use the Lime app to rent one of the 500 cars available in the area.

Lime, valued at $2 billion, is competing against ReachNow and Car2go in Seattle. The latter companies have a combined 1,500 cars available in the area.
