Customers who rent vehicles at Pittsburgh International Airport will be hit with a 9% increase in a fee that will help pay for $1.1 million terminal renovation, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

The Allegheny County Airport Authority voted unanimously to increase the customer facility charge from $5.50 to $6. The charge is added to the daily cost of the rental itself, up to seven days.

The new fee will go into effect Feb. 1.
