Mazda plans to offer a clean diesel model of its all-new Mazda6.

GM's Buick brand had its 2013-MY Verano at the show, which features an Ecotec 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. 

Audi debuted four TDI clean diesel models, including versions of its A8, A7, A6, and Q5.

This Mini Clubvan featured graphics promoting locksmith company Pop-A-Lock, showing this model's application as a fleet vehicle.

Volkswagen brought iew Beetle Convertible to the LA Auto Show. 

The Beetle Convertible has more rear-seat headroom and front leg and shoulder room than the previous model.

Volvo showed its S60 Polestar concept at the LA Auto Show. 

Volvo also brought its S60 to the show.

For 2013, the Volvo S60 features an improved inline five-cylinder engine that provides faster acceleration.

For the all-new Toyota Avalon, the automaker reduced the vehicle's weight by 110 lbs. compared with the previous model in order to improve fuel economy.

Lincoln showed one of their classic vehicles, a K-Series convertible coupe.

Lincoln showed its all-new 2013-MY MKZ sedan at the show.

Lexus brought a LS 600h hybrid to the show. 

For 2013, the 600h offers Lexus Enform with App Suite.

Kia showed its all-new 2014-MY Forte sedan at the event.

The Infiniti LE electric vehicle concept is designed to show the direction the brand is headed in terms of electric vehicle technology and related automotive design.

Honda showed its Fit EV at the event. This model will be available for lease only in California and Oregon but will become available in East Coast markets in early 2013, according to Honda.

Honda brought its 2013-MY Crosstour to the show. 

The 2013-MY Honda Crosstour offers the automaker's new "Earth Dreams" 3.5L V-6 as one of its powertrains. The 2.4L engine in the vehicle gets an estimated 22 city, 31 highway mpg.

Another Honda model at the show was the automaker's new 2014-MY Accord plug-in hybrid. 

The Accord plug-in hybrid will qualify for HOV-lane use in California, according to Honda.

Ford brough its Focus Electric to the show. 

Gymkhana driver Ken Block did a drifting demonstration in the all-new 2014-MY Ford Fiesta.

Ford is projecting 30 city, 40 highway mpg for its SFE 1.6L-equipped 2014-MY Fiesta. 

Ford also offers a four-door sedan version of its all-new 2014-MY Fiesta.

Fisker had its Karma sedan at the show. 

One of Chrysler's Fiat-brand debuts was its all-new 500e electric vehicle. 

Fiat is estimating a range of 80 miles for its all-new 500e.

The Fiat 500e can charge in 4 hours with its 240V on-board charging module.

The battery-electric powertrain in the 500e can produce 111 hp.

Chrysler also had its all-new Dodge Dart at the auto show.

Chrysler's booth featured a display that showed the 300C's interior.

GM held a press conference to debuts its new Chevrolet Spark EV.

GM brought a cutaway of its Chevrolet Spark EV to the event. The Spark EV offers MyLink radio that can bring smartphone-based information and entertainment into the vehicle.

The Chevrolet Spark EV's cabin features noise-reduction and a combination of chrome and blue interior accents.

The all-new edition of the Chevrolet Impala will offer three engine choices, a 3.6L V-6, a new 2.5L four-cylinder, and a 2.4L four-cylinder paired with eAssist.

BMW also showed its new i3 Concept Coupe at the event. BMW said the electric drive module in this concept is designed to get 100 miles of range on a single charge.

Acura had its 2014-MY RLX at the event. The RLX features a new 3.5L V-6.

The Acura RLX is the brand's new flagship sedan.

Acura also showed its NSX Concept at the LA Auto Show.

Mazda brought its all-new 2014-MY Mazda6 sedan to the LA Auto Show.

The cargo area of the Mini Clubvan features 12-volt sockets and attachment loops to secure cargo.

The Mini Clubvan comes with a 1.6L engine with maximum hp of 121. 

The Beetle Convertible features three engine options and the clean diesel TDI model is estimated to get 41 mpg highway, according to VW.

Toyota brought its all-new 2013-MY Avalon to the show. The automaker plans to offer livery models of the all-new Avalon.

Toyota brought its Fun-Vii concept to the LA Auto Show. The automaker designed the vehicle so it can show different types of images on its exterior.

The smart brand brought its fortwo electric drive. The electric drive has a top speed of 78 mph and will launch in spring 2013. 

Nissan showed its all-new 2013-MY Sentra at the show. 

The 2013-MY Sentra features a 1.8L engine and next-generation Xtronic CVT tp get 40 highway mpg, according to the company.

Another classic Lincoln model was this Lincoln-Dietrich convertible coupe.

Lexus showed its LF-LC hybrid concept car at the show.

The Lexus LF-LC coupe features the Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive.

The Lexus LS 600h hybrid model features new styling for the 2013 model-year. 

Infiniti showed its LE electric sedan concept at the LA Auto Show.

The Fit EV gets an EPA-rated miles-per-gallon-equivalent of 118.

Honda also showed their EV-ster electric sports car concept at the show.

The Accord plug-in hybrid gets an EPA-estimated 115 miles-per-gallon equivalent, according to the automaker.

The Focus Electric qualifies for HOV-lane status in California and gets 110 mile-per-gallon-equivalent.

The Ford Fiesta comes equipped with Ford's 1.0L three-cylinder EcoBoost engine.

Pictured here is the hatchback version of the 2014-MY Ford Fiesta. It offers 14.9 cu. ft. of cargo space.

The Fiat 500e's instrument panel shows the vehicle's state of charge, a trip summary, and how to use certain vehicle functions.

The Dodge Dart earned a five-star safety rating from NHTSA in October 2012.

The Dart features a 7-inch customizable display and an 8.4-inch touchscreen Media Center.

Chrysler showed its 300 at the show.

GM brought the latest edition of its Chevrolet Volt to the LA Auto Show.

The Spark EV can fast-charge in 20 minutes but is capable of charging on all three platforms, DC Fast Charge, AC 240V, and AC 120V.

Another new GM vehicle at the show was its 2014-MY Chevrolet Impala.

GM also brought its Code 130R sedan concept to the event. The vehicle seats four and is not planned for production at this time.

Cadillac had its all-new XTS at the show. 

The Cadillac XTS features a direct-injection 3.6L V-6 and a number of safety systems, including automatic front and rear braking and a rear cross-traffic alert.

Another new Cadillac model at the show was the automaker's ATS sedan.

The Cadillac ATS features the brand's new CUE infotainment system. Seating options include leatherette or leather.

Engine options on the ATS include two four-cylinder choices and a V-6.

BMW showed its new plug-in hybrid i8 Spyder concept at the show. 

Another BMW model at the show was its X1 Concept K2 "Power Ride." The vehicle is designed for cold-weather sports enthusiasts.
