Fleet Forward Atlanta Tour Stop in Photos

In 2022, Fleet Forward: The Tour made its inaugural stop in the Atlanta area in Peachtree Corners, a city designed as a tech hub and incubator of new smart city and transportation initiatives.

The Tour returned to Peachtree Corners for its second stop of 2023, with new speakers, seminars, electric vehicles to drive, and technologies for fleet managers to experience.  

Next Tour stop is Chicago, June 8. Fleet attendees can sign up now, agenda to be announced.

The day kicked off with an address by Tim Echols, Georgia’s Public Service Commissioner, who oversees energy regulation for the state.

Attendees took in seminars on formulating an EV charging gameplan, EV battery essentials, keys to building a sustainable fleet program, and EV ownership costs.

The Cobb County fleet brought its purpose-built, electrified prisoner transport.

Sortimo displayed a custom-made upfit package in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Sortimo’s lightweighting reduces weight on electric cargo vans to help deliver more range.

Cheri Norry and Scott Misico from Cobb County were joined by Chris Davis of the City of Charlotte and Fleet Forward's Chris Brown to give attendees insights into EV costs based on their real-world use cases.

The day provided multiple networking opportunities between fleets and subject matter experts.

Vehicles driven and on display included Nissan Ariya, BMW iX, Chevrolet Bolt, Ford F-150 Lightning, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Lightning eMotors ZEV3 Transit Passenger Van, Lordstown Motors Endurance, Mercedes Sprinter Athena EV from ZEVx, and a purpose-built all-electric prisoner transport van.

After many months of climbing through the Lordstown Motors Endurance at fleet events, attendees were finally able to drive the electric pickup.
