LAX Automated People Mover in Photos

Los Aneles International Airport (LAX) is the fifth busiest airport in the world, and second busiest in the United States. The new APM system is one component of the airport’s Landside Access Modernization Program. 

The infrastructure project will transform public transportation, reduce traffic congestion, and deliver a world-class experience for travelers at LAX.

The system will run on a 2.25-mile elevated dual-lane guideway with six stations and create new connections between the airport, public and private transportation, and a new consolidated rental car facility.

The new APM system will connect to the Conrac.

Additionally, 14 brands that will populate the new Consolidated Rent-A-Car facility (CONRAC) at LAX. 

Companies that have signed lease agreements with the airport include: Avis Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, Fox, DR Rental Car, Sixt, and Advantage.
