Lawsuit Accuses Hertz Franchisee of Revenge for Social Media Criticism

Bismarck, N.D. police issued a warrant for the claimant’s arrest when he never returned a rental vehicle. The claimant filed a lawsuit against the Hertz Bismarck franchisee and police department claiming the arrest was “revenge for his social media criticism of the company for his support of the pipeline protests in North Dakota.”
