After acquiring the U.K.’s City Car Club carsharing company last year, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has officially changed the name to Enterprise Car Club.
The U.K.’s Surry County Council has appointed City Car Club as its new car rental provider. City Car Club, which was recently acquired by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, will initially operate 14 low-emission vehicles.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has announced the acquisition of City Car Club, a Britain-based carsharing company. This will help strengthen the Enterprise CarShare brand in the U.K.
City Car Club, a U.K.-based car-sharing company, and the Nottingham City Council will launch a city car-sharing program in Nottingham, England, in May.
According to The York Press, the City Car Club hopes to expand its offering of eight Fiat 500 vehicles in the city of York to at least twice that amount over the next year.
