International car rental franchise operator, Green Motion, went virtual for the second year running, broadcasting its conference to a global network. This year, the conference was broadcast from Formula One's Redbull Racing MK 7 facility located in Milton Keynes, 40 miles north of London, England.

Surrounded by Redbull F1's race cars, Green Motion's founder and CEO, Richard Lowden led the conference and was joined by his leadership team along with key industry leaders including Matthias Schmid, vice president & managing director at Cars at Booking.com, Mark Slater, director of global supply at Rentalcars, Lucy Bueti, vice president at Priceline.com, Kate Muhati, senior account manager at Priceline, Nicolas Le Nue, director of account management at Expedia, and Steve Dennis, managing director at EnjoyTravel.com.

"Putting together virtual conferences is a tremendous challenge as it's critical that we ensure that our network receives relevant and insightful content that empowers them to continue to tackle the challenges brought to us by the pandemic head on," says Richard Lowden, Green Motion's founder and CEO.

Richard was also joined by the newly recruited fleet director, Michael McInerney who joined the Green Motion International team 4 months ago, having been formerly the fleet director for AVIS and Europcar. Michael provided Green Motion's in-depth strategy on fleet procurement for 2022 and beyond.

The conference was designed to give a recap of the 2021 trading, and also to share the direction of travel for Green Motion's global franchise and affiliate network.
