Zipcar piloted its free park pass program in five states, and due to its success, has scaled it to seven states and Canada beginning May 2019.

Zipcar is officially launching its free park pass program in time for the Memorial Day and Victoria Day travel weekends. The free passes enable Zipcar members to visit and park at select U.S. and Canada parks for free, providing more opportunity to explore places outside of the city, from hiking trails to campsites and beaches.

Zipcar piloted its free park pass program in five states, and due to its success, has scaled it to seven states and Canada beginning May 2019.

Free park passes are available in the following states and provinces:

U.S.

  • Colorado: Colorado Parks and Wildlife
  • Massachusetts: Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation
  • Michigan: Huron-Clinton Metroparks
  • New Jersey: New Jersey Division of Parks & Forestry
  • Oregon: Oregon State Parks Foundation
  • Rhode Island: State of Rhode Island Division of Parks and Recreation
  • Washington: Washington State Parks, Washington Department of Natural Resources and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife
