Zipcar is introducing a new option for more affordable local trips, the Stay Local membership plan.

Zipcar says the plan is a transportation option for essential workers or those looking for access to a dedicated vehicle Monday through Friday. It’s also for quick local trips, like picking up groceries or essentials during the pandemic.

The Stay Local plan varies per market. It starts at $5 per hour or $40 per day, plus $.58 per mile and is available in all Zipcar cities across the U.S. and Canada. Like all Zipcar options, Stay Local pricing is inclusive of gas, insurance and a dedicated parking spot.
