Ride-hailing group Cabify has resumed operations in Barcelona after the city formed new restrictions for the service, EuroNews reports

Under the new regulations, ride-hailing groups must allow 15 minutes to pass in between the customer requesting a ride and the driver arriving.

The new regulations came after months of protests by taxi drivers throughout Spain. While Barcelona tightened regulations, authorities in Madrid have refused to meet the taxi industries demands.
