Action Car Rental in New York Adds Luxury Vans and New Online Features
Improvements to the fleet include the addition of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter luxury vans and a new miles-per-gallon rating system available online for the 2013 fleet.
New York-based Action Car Rental announced on Dec. 21 the addition of luxury vans and a new miles-per-gallon rating system to car rental fleet.
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter luxury vans, which can seat up to 15 passengers, were added to the company’s fleet. Action is currently accepting reservations for the vans.
Action will also implement a new miles-per-gallon rating system in January that will enable customers to measure their rental vehicle fuel costs online prior to booking a vehicle. Ratings will be based on manufacturer's recommendations and displayed next to the vehicle name.
“We've found that our customers are becoming more and more cognizant of their fuel consumption and how that can impact their travel budget,” said Harry Hollander, president of Action Car Rental. “Providing MPG ratings will enable our customers to better estimate their true travel costs.”
