Beginning June 15, Alamo Rent A Car is launching a pilot program that will offer monster truck rentals in select U.S. locations. Featuring 66-inch tires and supercharged V8 engines, these trucks will provide off-road-ready vehicle options for customers.

Towering 12 feet high and weighing in at 10,000 pounds, these trucks will be available with rates starting at $650 per day, says the company. Weekly rates will also be available by request.

“Our more adventurous customers are looking for vehicles that will get their adrenaline pumping when they travel,” said Rob Connors, Alamo’s assistant vice president of brand marketing. “The Alamo Monster Truck Program is our way of providing truly monstrous experiences to vacationers looking for an extraordinary memory.”

The monster vehicles will be equipped with GPS navigation systems and a set of four standard helmets and seat harnesses, according to the company. Upgraded helmets with mounted cameras will also be available for an additional charge.

The trucks will be offered at Alamo locations with open-air lots; an official list of locations will be announced May 15 at www.alamo.com.
