Avis Budget Promotes Two Executives to Senior Leadership
Avis Budget Group's Gerard Insall has been named executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) and Ned Linnen has been appointed executive vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO).

Avis Budget Group Inc. has announced the promotion of two senior executives. Gerard Insall has been named executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) and Ned Linnen has been appointed executive vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO).
Insall and Linnen were previously senior vice presidents and chief officers of their respective areas, says the company.

As executive vice president and CIO, Insall will be responsible for the management of Avis Budget's global information technology organization, including enterprise applications, IT operations, networks, architecture and IT strategy. He has held various positions within IT since joining the company in 1988.
As executive vice president and CHRO, Linnen will oversee Avis Budget's global human resources activities, including organizational development, labor and employee relations, talent acquisition and diversity strategies, reward and recognition programs, equal employment compliance, health and safety and employee engagement initiatives. He joined the company in 2001.

Nelson, chairman and chief executive officer of Avis Budget Group. “Under Ned's direction, we continue to build the capabilities, talent and leadership of the organization.
