Avis Budget Group Inc. has announced the promotion of two senior executives. Gerard Insall has been named executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) and Ned Linnen has been appointed executive vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO).
Insall and Linnen were previously senior vice presidents and chief officers of their respective areas, says the company.

He joined the company in 2001.
"Under Gerard's leadership, we have significantly advanced the role that technology plays in our business to further improve the customer experience and drive efficiency,” said Ronald L.
