Avis Car Rental is celebrating its 20th anniversary of operating in Argentina.

Established in 1994 with two corporate locations — one at Ezeiza International Airport and the other in the city of Buenos Aires — and six licensees in other parts of the country, Avis Car Rental today boasts more than 60 corporate locations across the Argentine Republic, says the company.

"Avis Argentina was established to meet the car rental needs of residents and international travelers, and today, it continues to be a trusted brand for each, whether they are traveling for business or leisure," said Patric Siniscalchi, president, Latin American/Asia-Pacific, Avis Budget Group. "We appreciate Avis Argentina's hard work and dedication to putting the customer first over the last two decades and look forward to celebrating future milestones."

Avis Argentina serves customers at approximately 30 airports and at several metropolitan locations, including Buenos Aires, Bariloche, Cordoba, Iguazu, Mar del Plata, Mendoza, Salta, Tucuman and Ushuaia. Locations offer business and leisure travelers a variety of late model vehicles such as Chevrolet, Ford, Renault, Toyota and Volkswagen, says Avis.

"International tourism has nearly doubled in Argentina over the past 10 years, as travelers see our country as an affordable, diverse and safe destination," said Mariano Cavallaro, managing director, Avis Budget Argentina. "We look forward to the next two decades of serving our customers with the best quality vehicles and service."
