This summer, White Car will launch its carsharing service in London with a fleet of Tesla electric vehicles, according to a report by FleetNews.

White Car’s fleet is made up of the Tesla Model S 90D, which has a range of 300 miles per charge, says the report.

The customer will use White Car’s app to gain access to the Tesla vehicle. Once the rental is complete, the customer can leave the car at any location of their choice for free if it’s within 50 miles of a White Car hub, says the report.

“We are reaching an exciting tipping point in the electric car market, with companies like Tesla paving the way for electric cars to become a mainstream reality,” Mark Strachan, director of White Car, told FleetNews. “This, combined with the fact that the car rental market in the U.K. and Europe is often cumbersome, confusing, and lacks innovation, means there is a wonderful opportunity to disrupt the sector with the launch of a premium all-electric car hire company driven by a smartphone app.”

The company’s first location will be at London Heathrow Airport. Each Tesla will cost 149 pounds to rent per day, according to the report.
