DriveNow has added 20 more BMW i3 electric vehicles to its fleet in London, according to a report by EV FleetWorld.
The new i3 vehicles join the existing 30 i3s added earlier this year. Currently, there are 240 BMWs and Mini Coopers in DriveNow’s London fleet, according to the report.
The vehicles are available for pick up and drop off anywhere in Hackney, Islington, Haringey and Waltham Forest.
“We’re delighted to be expanding our electric fleet, simply because Londoners love driving our BMW i3s,” Joseph Seal-Driver, managing director of DriveNow U.K., told EV FleetWorld. “It’s a great starting point for customers who want to test out a top-of-the-range electric car on a pay-as-you-go basis with no further commitments such as monthly fees or annual subscriptions.”
Owned by BMW Group and Sixt SE, DriveNow launched in Germany and now operates in nine cities around the world, including Vienna, Stockholm, Berlin and Copenhagen.
