Edge Auto, Budd Enterprises Merge, Expand NYC Rental Offerings
The acquisition has enabled Edge Auto Rental to expand into the trucking and labor sector by adding CBS Network, NY Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, and the Metropolitan Opera, to its roster.

Budd Enterprises, a staple in the New York City film and television industry since the 1970s, has joined Edge Auto Rental Inc., the company announced today.
“We are thrilled to take over the Budd brand," said Rudy Caligari and William Harris, founders of Edge Auto Inc. "It’s been an institution in New York City for over 40 years. With this acquisition, we’re looking forward to expanding in the New York area and new markets.”
The acquisition has also enabled Edge Auto Rental to expand into the trucking and labor sector by adding the following accounts to its roster: CBS Network, NY Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, and the Metropolitan Opera, to name a few.
The additional trucks, tractors, and trailers compliment Edge Auto Rental’s robust and diverse fleet.
Additionally, Nadine Schramm, founder and CEO of Budd Enterprises, will be retiring.
