A new pilot electric carsharing program is set to roll out in November to Los Angeles residents in low-income neighborhoods, according to a report by NBC 4 Los Angeles.
The $1.6 million Car Sharing and Mobility Options in Disadvantaged Communities Pilot Project will provide 100 electric and hybrid cars, as well as charging stations, for residents to use in South LA, Westlake District, Pico Union and Koreatown, according to the report.
