Enterprise Chairman Inducted into Business Travel Hall of Fame

Andy Taylor, executive chairman of Enterprise Holdings, is one of newest members inducted into the Business Travel Hall of Fame.

The BTN Group inducted five members to the Business Travel Hall of Fame during its fourth annual event held at the St. Regis New York. In addition to Andy Taylor, the three other inductees include Marilyn Carlson Nelson, former Carlson chairman and chief executive officer; Andrew W. Menkes, founder of Partnership Travel Consulting; and Jean-Cyril Spinetta, former chairman and chief executive officer of Air France KLM.

The four inductees joined 19 members that have been inducted since the Hall of Fame started in 2010.

“We’re so pleased to recognize and honor the accomplishments of this esteemed group of industry icons,” said Louis Magliaro, group publisher, The BTN Group. “They’ve truly shaped today’s business travel landscape and exemplify The BTN Group mission to move our great industry forward.”

Taylor served as Enterprise Holdings’ chief executive officer in 1991, followed by chairman in 2001 and executive chairman in 2013. In 2009, Taylor was inducted into the U.S. Travel Hall of Leaders for his role in challenging excise taxes, which single out rental car customers, to fund unrelated projects and programs in local communities, says the company.
