Enterprise Rent-A-Car has appointed Greyfell Nordic as its franchise partner in Sweden and Norway to extend the Enterprise brand into Scandinavia.
This new partnership adds to Enterprise’s extensive network in Europe and North America, as well as its growing operations in Asia, says the company.
With experience in the Scandinavian car rental market, Greyfell Nordic has opened airport locations under the Enterprise brand at Stockholm Arlanda, Gothenburg Landvetter and Oslo Gardermoen, with more to follow.
“The agreement is another important part of the thriving community of successful car rental businesses that we’re building,” said Peter A. Smith, Enterprise’s vice president of global franchising. “Our customers have responded very positively to the growth of our European network, which has been developed through franchise partners with a strong track record for service. Companies like Greyfell Nordic help us to deliver greater value, quality and care to all of our customers wherever they may travel.”
Sweden and Norway are home to a large number of multinational corporations. Both countries have strong domestic rental markets and are popular leisure destinations for global travelers.
“This agreement is underpinned by a shared belief in the importance of customer service as the core driver for business value,” said Morten von Krogh, managing director of Greyfell Nordic. “We’re looking forward to mutual growth and success through our partnership with Enterprise by serving business travelers and tourists looking for both great value car hire and outstanding customer care.”
Currently, Enterprise brand is also available in Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and the U.K. According to Enterprise, it will begin operating in additional countries throughout Europe in the coming months.
