With the integration of Enterprise Holdings’ brands (Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo Rent A Car), corporate customers can now use the AirPlus business travel payments solution to access car rental in more global destinations.

The partnership allows AirPlus users to access the Enterprise Holdings’ network from 41 countries, with more to follow, according to the company.

The global expansion of Enterprise Holdings’ AirPlus program follows an initial roll-out in Germany and the U.K. The extended AirPlus integration included an additional 39 countries in Europe, North America, and the Middle East, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Additional locations are set to be added over the coming months.

The new partnership expands Enterprise Holdings’ payment options, according to the company. AirPlus provides organizations with fully itemized reporting on car rentals that is VAT-compliant.

AirPlus is an international provider of business travel payment and data management solutions that enable customers to use a single form of payment when traveling, according to the company. By accepting AirPlus, customers with corporate car rental accounts will no longer need a personal or corporate credit card when renting a vehicle from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, or Alamo Rent A Car.

“Following the initial roll-out in Germany and the U.K., demand for the service has been growing,” said Rob Ingram, director of business rental for Europe, Enterprise Holdings. “We listened closely to the corporate customers who used the service and they wanted to use AirPlus in more countries globally. As we continue to grow and evolve our global operations, we’re constantly seeking to implement new programs that better serve those customers.”

“By accepting AirPlus, we’re streamlining the rental process for corporate travelers while also simplifying their travel expenses,” added Ingram. “It’s one more way for us to provide more value and convenience to our customers, wherever in the world they rent from us.”
