Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the U.K. has been included in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women list for the 11th consecutive year.

The unranked alphabetical list is published in partnership with Business in the Community, the Prince’s Responsible Business Network, as part of the charity’s Responsible Business Week.

“Huge congratulations to Enterprise on being named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2016 – the process was highly competitive so they should be extremely proud of their success,” said Kathryn Nawrockyi, gender equality director at Business in the Community. “They have demonstrated a commitment to fundamentally changing workplace processes and cultures to make them inclusive to all, benefitting women and men at every level in their organization, and I hope they inspire other employers to do the same.”

The Times is pleased to celebrate Business in the Community's 25 years of campaigning for gender equality by publishing a special report to mark its 2016 list of the Top 50 Employers for Women,” said Emma Tucker, deputy editor of The Times. “The supplement will highlight the advances these 50 organizations have made in increasing opportunities and creating working environments where women are free to reach their full potential and also explore those areas where more needs to be done.”

The Times Top 50 Employers for Women list involves a comprehensive submission process managed by the gender equality campaign at Business in the Community. All organizations within the Top 50 have demonstrated that gender equality is a key part of their business strategy, with commitment to creating workplaces and cultures that are inclusive of women from entry level through senior leadership.

“This achievement is a testament to the hard work and resolve of our teams across the U.K. to ensure that our actions live up to one of our core values: that our doors are open to anyone,” said Khaled Shahbo, managing director of Enterprise Rent-A-Car UK & Ireland. “Gender equality is one of the major challenges — and opportunities — facing business today. Being recognized by The Times for the past 11 years as a great place for women to work is very important to our business and is important to me. …”
