Fox Rent A Car has announced that it will amend its prepaid rental booking, refund, and cancellation policies for customers that have been impacted by the recent U.S. travel ban.

Customers who have been — or might be — impacted by this recent change to U.S. travel and immigration policy should contact the Fox Rent A Car customer service team via email at customerservice@foxrentacar.com or via phone at 929-346-0096, says the company.

If customers provide their reservation number, passport information, and information about their country of origin, the Fox team will work with them to cancel their booking as needed and provide a 100% refund to the credit card used to book their prepaid car rental, according to the company.

"We are working with our teams to assist our customers who have been impacted by the recent U.S. travel ban to help alleviate any additional stress or inconvenience caused by this ban," said Sean Busking, Fox Rent A Car’s chief operating officer. "Fox will provide a full refund to impacted customers who are not able to honor their prepaid reservations, and we will waive any fees or penalties for cancellation. We have asked our reservation partners to extend the same services and benefits to these customers who have booked a prepaid reservation with Fox Rent A Car.”
