Hertz Rent2Buy, The Hertz Corporation's online car sales program, and Kelley Blue Book have partnered to provide used-car shoppers with new online car-buying experience.

Through its relationship, Hertz Rent2Buy customers have the ability to view Hertz's price for a vehicle in comparison to the Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value. In addition, the Hertz car sales inventory is available in The Trusted Marketplace on kbb.com, providing online car shoppers with complete access to Hertz's car sales selection.

"In conjunction with Kelley Blue Book, Hertz is able to demonstrate to car shoppers how much lower its Rent2Buy pricing is than the Kelley Blue Book Suggested Retail Value. This partnership also provides car shoppers an additional outlet for searching Hertz's car sales inventory via The Trusted Marketplace," said John Thomas, Hertz executive vice president, global supply chain management. "Kelley Blue Book is a trustworthy source for car shoppers and this relationship will serve Hertz Rent2Buy customers well with these new additions."

"We are pleased to be working with Hertz Rent2Buy and offering Kelley Blue Book Values to their customers," said Damon Bennett, vice president of business development, Kelley Blue Book. "This new relationship will now allow consumers to compare the Hertz price with the trusted Kelley Blue Book Value to make more informed buying decisions."

Hertz has sold hundreds of cars through its Rent2Buy program and has had almost 1 million unique visitors to its website, www.HertzRent2Buy.com.

The Trusted Marketplace from Kelley Blue Book's kbb.com is an online customer car shopping site that allows customers to research a vehicle, conduct new and used vehicle inventory searches, and also search for their next car.

Customers who are interested in a Hertz vehicle can search for Hertz Rent2Buy cars specifically on The Trusted Marketplace. If customers find a Hertz car they are interested in buying, they will be redirected to HertzRent2Buy.com where they can complete their reservation and purchase.
