Jeep Sees Highest Increase in Rental Volume in 2015

Jeep had the highest increase in rental volume in 2015 among auto manufacturers, according to data from R.L. Polk published in a report by The Wall Street Journal.
Jeep saw a 57% increase in rental volume this year through October — compared to the same period in 2014, according to R.L. Polk.
Nearly 80,000 Jeeps — or about 11.2% of the brand’s total U.S. volume — were sold to rental car companies during this period, says the report.
Kia experienced the second largest increase in rental volume in 2015. Ford, Toyota and Hyundai tied for third, according to Polk data.
Jeep’s parent brand Fiat Chrysler was down 18% in rental volume in 2015 compared to last year, says the report.
