MIAMI -- Payless Car Rental Systems has opened three new franchise locations in South Florida. They are based in Miami International Airport, Miami Beach and Ft.Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport.
The franchise openings are part of Payless Car Rental's aggressive development plan to double its franchise locations by the end of 2002.
Franchisee owners of the three Payless locations are Mauro and Serina Olivieri, who have more than 15 years of experience in the car rental industry operating as Alba Rent-A-Car. They will open a fourth Payless location in Ft. Myers, Fla., in the fall. "To be a successful car rental company, you must provide selection, superior customer service, competitive prices and advanced technology," said Serina Olivieri. "With Payless Car Rental, we become part of a world-wide system that allows us to provide our customers with all these benefits." The Payless fleet consists of late-model, low-mileage vehicles ranging from a compact Ford Escort to a Corvette convertible. The three South Florida locations have a variety of luxury cars, including BMW, Lexus, Porsche and Mercedes models. Sport utility vehicles, cargo vans and 16-passenger vans are also available. To service customers arriving at the airport, a shuttle to the Payless counter located on airport grounds is available. Payless will deliver cars directly to customers at their hotel or business. A multilingual staff is available to assist international travelers.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of Payless Car Rental, a special daily rate of $30 on mid-size cars is available for a limited time at participating locations.
