PlatePass Electronic Toll Now Offered to Renters in Georgia
PlatePass, an electronic toll payment service for rental car companies, now includes Georgia Peach Pass as part of its coverage, according to American Traffic Solutions (ATS) Fleet Services, the program’s provider.
Rental car customers in Georgia who wish to use the I-85 Express Lane can now benefit from PlatePass, an electronic toll payment service for rental car companies, according to American Traffic Solutions (ATS) Fleet Services, the program’s provider.
With PlatePass, rental car customers can use all-electronic toll lanes as well as cashless tollways where cash toll payments are not possible, says the company. The service also allows renters to view, pay and print receipts for their toll transactions online.
“We are excited to now include Georgia Peach Pass as part of our nationwide PlatePass coverage,” said Vincent Brigidi, ATS Fleet Services senior vice president and general manager. “By expanding the reach of this value-added service, we can help our partners meet the tolling needs of even more rental customers.”
PlatePass covers more than 95% of the nation’s tolling regions: California (FasTrak), Colorado (EXpressToll), Florida (SunPass/E-Pass/LeeWay), Northeast United States (E-ZPass/I-PASS), Texas (EZ Tag/TollTag/TxTag), North Carolina (NC Quick Pass), Oklahoma (PIKEPASS), Puerto Rico (AutoExpreso), Washington (Good to Go!) and now Georgia (Peach Pass).
The service is available through many rental car companies in North America, including Hertz Rent-A-Car, Dollar Rent A Car, Thrifty Car Rental, Advantage Rent A Car, Firefly Car Rental and Toyota Rent a Car, says the company. Toll coverage can differ between rental companies.
