The American Car Rental Association (ACRA) announces that Bill Marion, principal and partner of Purdue Marion & Associates, will deliver ACRA’s general session speech at this year’s International Car Rental Show (ICRS).
Marion worked for former Senate Democratic Leader Sen. Harry Reid as the director of the Nevada state office in Las Vegas from 1989 to 1992 and as Sen. Reid’s special assistant in Washington, D.C., from 1993 to 1998. He also served as the assistant director for the Nevada Humanities Committee.
As a strategic adviser for government affairs, Marion will share his advice and opinions on how ACRA can effectively communicate on a state and federal level.
“Bill is an expert in the legislative process, political consulting, and public relations, and he knows how to leverage the power of language to move popular opinions,” said Sharon Faulkner, executive director of ACRA. “Owing to his extensive experience with political action committees (PACs), Bill’s insights will directly benefit our association’s recently formed ACRAPAC.”
ACRA’s general session will convene on Tuesday March 28 at 11 a.m. The 2017 ICRS takes place March 27-29 at Bally’s Las Vegas. Visit here for updates, the full schedule, and to register.
