Sixt SE’s supervisory board has added two new members to its managing board: Alexander Sixt and Konstantin Sixt. The managing board went from three to five members, according to the company.

"During the past few years, Sixt has grown strongly and geared itself up for the mobility of the 21st century,” said Gunter Thielen, chairman of the supervisory board. “The extension of the managing board is a logical consequence of this expansion. Over the past few years, Alexander and Konstantin Sixt have provided numerous impulses to drive forward the strategic and operative development of the group. Their readiness to work in the future at the top management level once more underscores the Sixt family's firm commitment to the company.”

As board member for organization and strategy, Alexander Sixt will be responsible for the divisions including strategy, procurement, mergers and acquisitions, process management and new mobility services like DriveNow.

"One of the key challenges within the Sixt Group lies in permanently adjusting our structures and processes to a continuously growing company and changing customer requirements,” said Alexander Sixt. “In the upcoming years, Sixt will develop into an integrated mobility service provider covering all aspects of automotive mobility. Innovative power, flexibility, efficiency and transparency are my standards for the international expansion of our company."

Konstantin Sixt will be responsible for Sixt’s car rental’s national and international sales and global e-commerce, says the company.

“In well over 100 countries, the Sixt brand already stands for absolute customer orientation and premium services,” said Konstantin Sixt. “Despite the strong growth in the last few years, there is still enormous market potential for our company in Europe, the USA and other regions of the world. I am convinced we will seize these opportunities with a competitive sales team and customized innovation services for our customers.”
