Sixt has signed its first global partnership with the Expedia group, a group of online travel companies. The agreement provides Expedia, Hotwire and CarRentals.com customers access to Sixt's car rental fleet at more than 2,000 locations across more than 100 countries, according to Sixt.
The multi-year agreement with Sixt establishes the Expedia group as a partner in Sixt’s expansion plans, says the company. Specifically, Sixt plans to extend its presence in the United States by opening both owned and franchised locations.
