Suspect Arrested for Theft of 18 Rental Vehicles in Ghana
Frank Nyankotey in Ghana was arrested and charged with stealing, defrauding and forgery of documents after stealing 18 rental cars and changing the ownership into his name.
According to Joy News, Nima Police in Ghana arrested and charged Frank Nyankotey for stealing 18 rental cars, and for fraudulent activities and forging documents for collateral.
Nyanjotey allegedly stole the cars from car rental companies by renting the vehicle but changing the ownership of the vehicle into his name with help from agents at the Driver and Vehicle Leasing Agency (DVLA).
Police said they have retrieved nine of the 18 stolen cars.
The courts announced a deferred sentence in effect on Feb. 21.
