Suspected Rental Car Thief Arrested for 17th Time
A Buffalo, N.Y., man has been arrested for the 17th time. All of his 17 arrests have been related to stealing rental cars.

Larry Goins Jr. of Buffalo has been arrested for stealing rental cars from Buffalo Niagara International Airport, according to a report by WIVB 4.
Chief George Gast of the Niagara Frontier Transit Authority Police told the news station that Goins Jr. has been arrested by his department 16 different times. And all of his 16 previous arrests had something to do with stealing rental cars.
Goins Jr. has been stealing rental cars from the airport’s lower level of the terminal parking ramp where rental customers return their vehicles.
“Most of the cars eventually are recovered,” Gast told WIVB 4. “Some of them we know have been utilized in other illegal activities, whether they be drugs, guns, some of them have been recovered out of state.”
Goins Jr. is expected to face two felony counts of possession of stolen property, two felony counts of grand larceny, two felony counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and two violations of trespass, according to the report.
