Thrifty Car Rental UAE Adds Volkswagen Models for Safety Reasons
The rental car company’s fleet now includes the Volkswagen Jetta and Passat to address customer’s safety concerns when choosing a rental car.
In response to customer’s safety concerns, Thrifty Car Rental UAE added Volkswagen vehicles to its fleet, according to AMEinfo.com.
The 2013 Volkswagen Jetta and Passat were named Top Safety Picks by the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. Both models ranked high in moderate and small overlap front test results, side impact test results, roof strength and rear crash protection/head restraint ratings.
Thrifty Car Rental UAE General Manager Rahul Singh said the company chose Volkswagen because customers consider vehicle safety, after price, when choosing a car to rent.
The rental car company will showcase the vehicles at this year's Arabian Travel Market at the Dubai World Trade Center from May 6-9.
