UFODrive, a provider of electric vehicle rental, has released a full-service subscription product driven by customer demand for longer-term rentals.
“Our unique customer experience drives incredible loyalty and repeat business,” said Aidan McClean, UFODrive’s CEO and co-founder. “We found customers across many of our countries repeatedly extending rentals for weeks and months at a time — which you can do with one click at home. When we spoke to these customers, they were looking for on-demand ownership with our experience levels. By creating the subscription product, we can offer better rates that reward longer rentals and offer greater flexibility. … ”
Currently, UFODrive’s subscription is available across eight European countries, including the U.K., Ireland, Spain, and Germany. It is planned to be available for U.S.-based customers in first quarter 2023.
Vehicles can be collected from UFOBAYs or delivered directly to your door in major cities using the company’s rental delivery service. Customers have 24/7 access to UFODrive’s experts who will monitor charge levels, book the best available charger, and unlock the car if customers forget their keys.
“We’re not expecting subscription to fundamentally change car ownership,” said McClean, “but we hope it will reward our most loyal customers and give anyone who wants to go electric another seamless way to find out why EVs are better, and EVs with UFODrive are the best.”
Currently, UFODrive operates in nine countries worldwide and is available in more than 20 locations, including London, San Francisco, Paris, Berlin, Dublin, Austin, and Amsterdam.
