United Airlines has established a partnership with Las Vegas-based Certified Airline Passenger Services (CAPS) that gives passengers the convenience of remote airport check-in for multiple airline partners. The service will initially be available to United's passengers at the CAPS Alamo Rent A Car location, near McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.
For a fee of $6 per person (children 12 and under are free), United Airline passengers can go to the CAPS counter at Alamo to obtain a boarding pass, seat assignment and baggage claim checks one to 12 hours before their flight departure time. Upon arrival at the terminal, passengers can go directly to the gate of their flight and board the aircraft, avoiding delays and long lines. Alamo has been offering the CAPS service to its customers since November of last year.
