The Vancouver Taxi Association had sought an emergency injunction against the ride-hailing services, which do not yet operate in Vancouver.

While those leaving the airport will have to travel to a pickup location, Uber, Lyft, and taxi drivers will still be able to drop people off at the departure terminals.

The decision by the Supreme Court cannot be reversed.
As part of the decree, bookings on ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Cabify must be made 15 minutes prior to pick-up.
