Final Rentals has expanded its car rental service to Geneva, Switzerland, adding both airport and city-center pickup options, the company said April 7.
Customers can now book vehicles for pickup at Geneva International Airport (GVA) and at city-center locations. The move extends Final Rentals’ presence in Europe, where it operates in multiple markets.
Geneva is a major international hub for business and tourism, with one of Switzerland’s busiest airports serving millions of passengers each year. The company said the expansion is intended to serve a range of travelers, including business visitors and tourists traveling to nearby Alpine destinations.
The platform provides access to a range of vehicles, including compact cars and larger models such as SUVs.
Final Rentals said the Geneva launch builds on its operations across more than 20 European destinations.
“Geneva has always been a key milestone in our expansion journey,” said Ammar Akhtar, founder and CEO of Final Rentals, in a news release. “It’s a city defined by high expectations and a diverse, sophisticated customer base ranging from business travelers arriving for same-day meetings to families escaping to the Alps for the weekend.”
The addition of city-center pickup allows customers arriving by rail or already in Geneva to rent vehicles without having to travel to the airport.
The company is based in Cardiff, Wales, and operates an online booking platform for car rentals across Europe.
