Skurt, a transportation app that delivers rental cars, has been acquired by vehicle subscription service, Fair, the companies announced.
Skurt's platform enables the digital initiation and monitoring of customer car deliveries from a central dashboard, as well as real-time notification, fleet location tracking, and instant communication throughout the process.
Santa Monica, Calif.-based Fair also just closed off another round of funding, led by Siemens-backed next47. In January, the startup purchased the existing lease contracts and vehicles of Uber’s Xchange Leasing subsidiary.
Launched in October 2015, Skurt operates in Los Angeles, Orange County, Calif., Miami, and San Diego. In February 2017, Skurt raised $10 million in Series A funding.
