Revenue generated from ride-hailing companies in Nevada now makes up half of the Nevada Transportation Authority's yearly budget, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

For the 2020-2021 budget, $2.58 million of the total $5.6 million has been derived from ride-hailing groups. Uber leads the way, accounting for 60% of the state's ride-hailing revenue; Lyft makes up the remaining.
