Enterprise Rent-A-Car Looks to Hire Student Athletes
Enterprise partnered with Career Athletes to provide opportunities for student athletes.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Career Athletes are working together to give each other access to their wide networks.
Not only will Enterprise be able to work with more than 220 university athletic departments to develop relationships with their student-athletes and administrators, but student-athletes will also be able to work in the Enterprise Management Training Program.
As a management trainee, student-athletes will learn valuable business skills such as managing profit and loss statements, marketing and customer service.
Enterprise hired 8,000 college graduates in 2011 alone and has been named a top entry-level employer in the United States by Diversity Employers magazine and CollegeGrad.com.
As the official rent-a-car of the NCAA, Enterprise has both featured and hired a number of former collegiate athletes in their national media campaign televised during the NCAA Basketball tournaments throughout March and April.
“Partnering with Career Athletes allows Enterprise to connect with its nationwide network of athletic departments and student athletes, and we look forward to very productive partnership,” said Vice President Talent Acquisition Marie Artim. “Our commitment to college recruitment has made us the number one recruiter of college graduates and many former student-athletes have realized their potential and developed successful careers with us.”
