Ford Motor Company held its 2017 model-year fleet preview at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Mich., from June 8 to 10. Presentations at the preview offered insights on a number of Ford’s MY-17 vehicles.
Attendees of the preview included 900 of Ford’s top commercial, government, and rental customers.
A key feature to the fleet preview was the drive experience held at Ford’s Dearborn Development Center in Dearborn, Mich. A wide spectrum of Ford vehicles were available to test, including the new Fusion, Mustang, Super Duty, Police Interceptor Utility, and the Lincoln Navigator. Eight test tracks were available to traverse, including a wet vehicle dynamics area, a steering and handling course, a high-speed track, and a low-speed track.
Also available at the center were fleet preview exhibits, one of which offered additional details into the new Super Duty. The Super Duty exhibit included information about the vehicle’s camera system, adaptive steering, and LED lighting.
A Q&A about the 2017 Ford Super Duty was also featured at the event.
