Average wholesale used vehicle prices rose in March on both a month-over-month and year-over-year basis — up 4.7% compared to February and up 2% relative to March 2014, according to ADESA Analytical Services‘ monthly analysis of wholesale used vehicle prices. The truck classes (vans, SUVs, pickups) performed much stronger than the car and crossover classes.

Mileage Remains Above 45K on Rental Resale Vehicles

Wholesale used vehicle prices fell 0.5% in March and dropped the Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index to a reading of 124.5, almost equaling a year ago (124.4). Rental resale vehicles remained above 45,000 miles, up 8% from a year ago.
