In addition to its ongoing legislative efforts, the American Car Rental Association (ACRA) is actively engaged with law enforcement and government agencies to mitigate terrorist attacks. The fruits of this work will be delivered during the ACRA session at the 2019 International Car Rental Show.

In this panel seminar, attendees will learn how to identify, collect, and relay vital information on potential extremist behavior to the right authorities and implement security protections. The panel will then delve into other business sectors to learn their experiences in protection and planning for the possibility of extremist acts.

The ACRA session features panelists from the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, as well as Mike Rozin, founder of Rozin Security. Rozin’s terrorism prevention experience ranges from working as a security agent for Ben-Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv to his role as special operations security captain at the Mall of America. Rozin also served as chief security officer for the Minnesota Super Bowl LII Host Committee, where he helped plan and manage security operations for the event.

“We’re excited to host subject matter experts who can educate our car rental audience on how to prevent potentially catastrophic events at their locations,” said Sharon Faulkner, executive director of ACRA. “The seminar promises to be lively and engaging, as panelists will share their learnings and experiences from the real world.”

The ACRA session starts at 10am on Monday, April 15. The 2019 International Car Rental Show convenes April 14-16 at Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.
